Hi, my name is Mike. I have been a member of CrossFit DTP since November 2013.
In my line of work as a construction worker I used heavy equipment and heavy tools. So I needed something that would allow me to do my job safely and effectively. In that line of work there was a lot of pulling, picking things up, bending over to get things, shoveling, climbing and operating heavy pneumatic tools. I noticed that the exercises I was doing in CrossFit were changing my everyday life for the better. I had more stamina at work more strength to operate the tools and more endurance to get the job done. I also knew that what I was doing in my regular gym was not going to give me the benefits and pleasure that CrossFit does. At DTP I know that everyone who walks through the doors will be greeted with open arms and a warm smile. If there is anyone looking or has friends that are looking for a box to get started in I would highly recommend CROSSFIT DTP. Their approach to CrossFit is somewhat unique and the fact that you can come 5 days a week and still feel good proves it. The programming is designed not to leave you beat up or to get you injured. Their approach to CrossFit is to teach you to use your body correctly and that’s the biggest attraction for me at DTP. I just would like to thank Tom and Ali and for their commitment to their athletes and their vast pool of knowledge that they share with us every day.
